As part of its continued growth, CMA CGM Belgium is looking for a Local Key Account Manager (Inside Sales) to strengthen our GA/IFF Sales team within the Commercial Department.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE
As LKAM – Inside Sales, you manage and grow a dedicated customer portfolio in line with the Agency Business Plan and commercial strategy. Your mission is to increase volumes, diversify business, and enhance customer experience while actively promoting CMA CGM’s image, values, and full product portfolio.

 

The key responsibilities of the LKAM Inside Sales are as such : 

  • Full commercial responsibility for a portfolio of key accounts, including volume growth on focus trades.
  • Actively grow business through both farming and hunting, identifying new opportunities in a dynamic and changing market.
  • Ensure competitive valid rates with an accurate and timely filing via FMC, AQUA and/or LARA in compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.  
  • Manage quotations, tenders, bidding sheets, and follow up through effective daily workflow management (incl. NVR list).
  • Identify market opportunities, develop market share, leads and contribute competitive intelligence aligned with commercial strategy.
  • Define sales targets for each account with clear action plans and ensure alignment and good communication with the Trade Teams: HO, local and internal stakeholders. 
  • Pro-actively call and conduct potential joint visits with the Sales Manager 
  • Promote and sell the full CMA CGM product portfolio, including maritime, value added services, ACT+, intermodal & our digital solutions via our SPOT ON platform. 
  • Build strong, long term customer relationships to increase loyalty and performance
  • Ensure valid credit agreements, high invoice accuracy, timely payments, and take ownership of dispute resolution.
  • Act as an ambassador for non-controlled volumes that are assigned to your portfolio. 

 

Skills and competencies: 

  • Fluent in Dutch and English is mandatory, French is a strong asset
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with a customer centric mindset 
  • Result driven and resilient in a fast-changing, high-pressure environment
  • Knowledge of CMA CGM products, CRM software, MS Office and internal CMA-CGM systems
  • Have a pro-active mindset and manage priorities. 
  • Able to work independently, with a strong administrative accuracy
  • Solutions driven with a high commitment to deliver an excellent customer experience
