YOUR ROLE

At our location in Nijmegen, we are looking for an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor! In this versatile role as Assistant Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating a team of warehouse operators. You will oversee approximately 10 warehouse operators daily, monitoring the team's process and productivity. The application of the LEAN philosophy is crucial in this role. You will ensure efficient personnel deployment and maintain order and cleanliness in the department and warehouse. Additionally, you will guide employees in their daily tasks and enforce compliance with regulations outlined in the house rules (both operationally and in terms of Safety, Quality, Health, and Environment). Moreover, you will promptly address any anomalies or deviations. Naturally, you will provide input to the supervisor for planning, progress, and evaluation discussions. In the absence of the supervisor, you will assume their duties.

As an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor, you will lead a team of approximately 10 individuals daily. You will closely collaborate with other Assistant Warehouse Supervisors and the Supervisor. Your base will be in Nijmegen, where we serve our client bol.com. Our working hours consist of 2 shifts: from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 1:00 am.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You are someone who naturally takes on leadership roles. You prioritize quality and quickly grasp processes and methods. Moreover, you generate initiatives for improvements. Additionally, you bring the following knowledge and experience:

• Intermediate vocational education (MBO) level;
• Leadership experience in logistics, retail, or FMCG;
• Understanding of warehousing and automated information systems;
• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written.

• A gross monthly salary between € 2.720,26 to € 3.521,43 and 8% holiday allowance (depending on your experience and education level);
• A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position;
