Outside Sales Officer

Role Overview
The Outside Sales Officer is responsible for developing and maintaining strong commercial relationships with existing and potential customers in Iraq. The role aims to maximize revenue, increase market share, and promote CMA CGM’s full range of shipping and logistics solutions. The position requires proactive client engagement, market intelligence gathering, and close coordination with internal teams to ensure high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in establishing the Commercial actions plan
- Responsible for a portfolio of customers, handle commercial enquiries received (RFQ, …)
- Plan/conduct commercial visits & phone calls to Promote Group Services and Non-Maritime products
- Develop strategic partnership with customers.
- Identify the commercial market opportunities, develop market share.
- Enhance, at regional/country level, group competitive advantage through market feedback on rates, competition, and conditions.
- Identify and inform of any process improvements, at regional/country level, needed to improve customer satisfaction.
- Update commercial data and customer feedback in CRM
- Support Customers in the utilization of SpotOn
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (scientific major is a preference) from an esteemed University.
- Previous experience in a corporate or any other relevant industry / field.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken) is required.
- Language proficiency will be tested as part of the selection process.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools, and digital sales platforms.
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and ability to guide customers through digital processes.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate between internal teams and customers.
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in troubleshooting digitalization queries.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
