YOUR MISSIONS

As a Ship Operations Planner, your mission will be to assist operational staff in managing the handling of ships. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing loading and unloading lists in advance using terminal software.
  • Formatting the ship's loading and unloading plans from the received computer files.
  • Showing the sequential and functional order of ship handling operations.
  • Updating the plan and providing instructions to foremen as operations progress.
  • Monitoring the smooth running of operations.
  • Preparing various port call reports and invoicing for operations.
  • Tracking transshipment goods.
  • Verifying and correcting information on goods to be handled.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

You will be a key player in coordinating and optimizing ship handling operations. You will work under the authority of the GMG Operations Manager and in close collaboration with the field teams to ensure efficient and smooth port operations management.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Higher education in international trade, transport, or logistics.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar position.
  • Good knowledge of port and maritime operations.
  • Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word, Internet, Outlook) and OSCAR and MASC3 planner software.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
