JOB DESCRIPTION: Human Resources Officer

 

ROLE SUMMARY: The Human Resources Officer serves as a focal point for recruitment and training activities and supports overall HR operations. This role ensures effective talent acquisition, onboarding, training development, and compliance with labor regulations while supporting employee engagement initiatives.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Prepare and regularly update vacancy reports.
  • Actively manage recruitment processes including job advertising, sourcing, interviewing, reference checking, and employment contract preparation.
    • Get confirmation to hire and get inquiry with HOD and Manager
    • Review Job Descriptions with HOD
    • Create Job Requisition (JR) in MyHR and post the job to Group Linkedin and Local Job posting website (JobsDB by Seek)
    • Screening candidates and send the potential candidate to concern parties for interview
    • Get confirmation to hire from HOD
    • Send offer email to candidates and prepare the employment contact
    • Input new joiner data in MyHR
  • Ensure timely recruitment of suitable candidates in accordance with company requirements.
  • Coordinate and conduct employee orientation and implement effective onboarding programs.
  • Support the Assistant HR Manager and HR Manager in assigned HR-related duties.
  1. Training & Development
  • Assist HR Manager to arrange the training.
  • Doing the announcement for training and training registration.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and instructor performance, with recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of all training activities in Training Orchestra (company Training System).
  • Prepare and submit training reports to government authorities (e.g., Skill Development Department).
  • Participate in special HR projects as assigned.
  1. Activities
  • Helping organized HR activities such as Staff Party, Townhall, Sport Activates etc.
  • Liasing with other departments such as administration and finance team.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Recruitment, Training & Development and Employee Engagement (preferred)
  • Knowledge
    • Good understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures.
  • Skills & Competencies
    • Good command of spoken and written English (Minimum TOEIC score: 750).
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
