Outside Sales / Sales Executive

JOB POSITION: OUTSIDE SALES

 

YOUR ROLE: Responsible for sales activities and keep good relationship with customers.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Act on action plans produced by Sales Action Planning including understanding the contract terms and conditions of the customer.
  • Regular customer contact by phone, emails, entertainment, or visits when appropriate.
  • Update knowledge of customers’ needs and requirements, the business situation, their market/industry information, their buying and sourcing patterns (booking prospects), pricing policies, competitors’ activities, customer allocation, equipment, and logistics etc.
  • Provide regular updates on network and service products via product brochures and presentations.
  • Update customers on the company policy and act on conference initiatives when appropriate.
  • Review of customers’ feedback on service quality.
  • Register customer complaints in the complaint’s logbook and action as and when required with feedback to the customer.
  • Support and assistance on issues that arise.
  • Ensure customer complaints are promptly addressed and corrected by a discussion with concerned parties.
  • Manage all customer interface activities and ensure that they are handled efficiently.
  • Selling VAS of CMA product. 
  • Receive, qualify in priority customers’ requests and process their requests.
  • Plan and conduct commercial visit according to the commercial action plan and produce visit report.
  • Ensure follow up on her/his customers portfolio payment and contribute to recover unpaid debt.
  • Participate in commercial events and develop a professional network within her/his commercial area.
  • Participate in establishing the Commercial actions plan and ensure the right customer's segmentation is selected in her/his area.
  • Ensure update of commercial data in the information system.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum 1-2 or working experience in the shipping/forwarding industry. Fresh Graduates are welcome.
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree / University graduated

Professional Skills:

  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Excellent presentation
  • Customer knowledge
  • Pricing knowledge
  • Knowledge shipping/forwarding industry is preferable  

Personal Qualities:

  • Good interpersonal communication
  • Assertive and tactful
  • Highly motivated, result-oriented individual
