We are looking for a Senior Agency Trade Manager based in Barcelona (f/m/d), reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and leading a team of 11 employees across Spain.

Role and Mission:

As a Senior Agency Trade Manager, you will play a key role in driving profitable market share growth across all trades. You will lead the country Trade team, maximizing vessel capacity through close coordination with Head Office, Regional Office, and local Sales teams to drive Spain's commercial performance.

• CMA CGM Agencies Staff (Local & Global).

• CMA CGM Group Regional Office.

• Customers.

Functions:

• Provide long-term vision and strategy for the country/cluster.

• Coordinate market identification through sales and external data.

• Translate global targets into a local commercial strategy (budget, action plan…).

• Ensure solid structure for reporting to lines issues related to pricing and routing.

• Optimize the building & analysis of vessel profiles.

• Ensure accuracy of commercial forecasts.

Required Skills:

• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing large teams.

• Strong shipping knowledge (preferably 10+ years of experience in liner shipping).

• Strong leadership and people management skills.

• Effective communication skills (ability to articulate various business scenarios with customers, senior business leaders & middle management), and ability to manage stress through challenging situations.

• Must be able to prioritize work effectively and manage time efficiently.

• Previous experience on Salesforce platform is highly valued.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.

• Strong results-oriented mindset. • Passion for winning in the market.

• Fluency in English is mandatory. Spanish is highly valued and French would be considered an asset.
