YOUR ROLE

 

  • 1 x AM (9am – 5pm) and 2 x PM (11.15am - 7.15pm) shifts available
  • Base rate of $32.76 / hour + 13.75% super
  • Role offered under the CEVA Logistics & Transport Workers Union National EA, the details of which can be found at fwc.gov.au.


We’re seeking expressions of interest for permanent Storepersons for our customer contract in the tyre supply chain at Berrinba QLD.


Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you’ll help ensure that our day-to-day warehousing functions are completed to customer service levels and within CEVA standards.

Specifically, you will:

 

  • Store and pack goods and materials in accordance with standard procedures
  • Load, unload, move, stack and stage goods and materials using a forklift, or other non-specialised equipment
  • Prepare freight with all appropriate paperwork ready for handover and delivery
  • Assist in physical inventories and regular stock rotation
  • Respond to customer requests related to product/freight delivery, availability and location
  • Stocktake and perform check-in / check-out counts, cycle counts 
  • General warehouse duties.


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate has: 
 

  • Current forklift (LF) licence with reach experience, and experience in general warehousing operations
  • Strong safety awareness and committed to safe work practices
  • Good time management and communication skills; basic computer literacy.


In addition to providing proof of work rights, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
