Sales Development Senior Specialist Morocco

MISSION :

 

Develop and manage a portfolio of key Chinese-owned businesses, manufacturing plants, and investment projects in Morocco, in alignment with the Group strategy and the Morocco Agency Business Plan. Drive business growth by prospecting new opportunities, selling relevant products and services, and consistently promoting the Group’s image and values.

 

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Market Development and Customer Acquisition Identify commercial market opportunities, prospect new customers, and follow up with existing ones to develop and monitor the customer portfolio in the requested segment / vertical. Ensure proactive engagement to expand market presence and strengthen relationships.

 

Sales Strategy and Coordination Coordinate the global sales strategy for the specific segment in collaboration with local agency CCO & GM and the group sales network, primarily in China. Participate in defining commercial action plans and ensure proper customer segmentation within the assigned area.

 

Promotion and Sales Execution Promote and sell Group products and services, as well as non-maritime solutions (e-commerce, VAS, intermodal, CEVA, etc.), in compliance with the pricing policy. Prioritize and qualify customer requests, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

 

Customer Interaction and Networking Plan and conduct commercial visits according to the action plan and produce detailed visit reports. Actively participate in commercial events and develop a strong professional network within the designated commercial area.

 

Data Management and Reporting Ensure the regular update of commercial data in the information system (mainly Nova Business  salesforce) to maintain accuracy and reliability. Provide insights and reports that support decision-making and performance tracking.

 

Financial Follow-Up and Dispute Resolution Monitor customer portfolio payments, contribute to recovering unpaid debts, and assist in resolving disputes when necessary to maintain healthy financial relationships.

 

KNOWLEDGE, WORK EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES :

 

  1. Sales & Commercial Expertise : Strong sales techniques and negotiation skills, Customer relationship management and commercial actions, Deep understanding of customer needs, Solid knowledge of shipping industry (minimum 5+ years in liner shipping), Proven experience as Account Manager (3+ years), Knowledge of commercial policies and offers
  2. Management & Organizational Skills : Strong management and leadership capabilities, Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently, Professional demeanor and stress management in challenging situations
  3. Communication & Interpersonal Skills Excellent communication skills (ability to articulate business scenarios with customers, senior leaders, and middle management)Positive attitude and professional behavior
  4. Analytical & Business Acumen : Analytical mindset with ability to leverage data for decision-making, Financial and economic knowledge, Business intelligence expertise, Operational marketing skills
  5. Digital & Technical Skills : Previous experience with Salesforce platform, Proficiency in software and IT applications
  6. Language Proficiency : Chinese, French, and English
