YOUR ROLE:

 

 

Manage all the activities of the agency/ subsidiary, develop the commercial, logistic, financial and operational activities of the organization and identify new business opportunities. Manage and organize the departments of the agency/ subsidiary Ensure the development of the agency/ subsidiary implementing Group organization standards Guarantee the budget, KPI and performance of the agency/ subsidiary and set the objectives to achieve in line with Head Office policy Ensure proper application of procedures, tools and rules of the Group Drive organizational transformation and implementation of changes.

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?:

 

 

CMA CGM Brand promotion and development.

Financial Management: Prepare and execute financial forecasts in collaboration with the Cluster CFO.

Business Development: Monitor the market for new opportunities and develop direct relationships with key customers. Find and develop import and export leads, engage prospects and convert them to the group customer.

Sales Leadership: Managing and controlling Sales & Operation activities, define and monitor performance targets to achieve strategic objectives.

Customer centricity: Ensure a quick and proper response to all reasonable customer requests, focusing on customer satisfaction. Reporting & KPI follow up : Gather regional market information, analyze and generate reports including Monthly commercial and all KPI reports.

Team Management: Oversee the local workforce, ensuring compliance with labor regulations and Group policies.

Internal Control & Compliance: Implement internal audit recommendations and report any suspected fraud to management and relevant authorities.

Operations and Logistics: Monitor interactions with all stakeholders (port, terminals, logistics base, depots, clients, etc.) to ensure optimal   management and execution in line with the objectives set by the group.

Government and Institutional Liaison: Represent the Group with local authorities and government bodies as required. Perform all other duties as maybe asigned by management.

 Ensure the proper execution of the agency's commitments to institutional stakeholders, both in daily operations and during specific missions.

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

 

  • Preferably master’s degree in Transport & Logistics, Marketing, business administration or management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role, shipping – logistics sector and port operation
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Proven experience in commercial management and business development.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial and operational processes.
  • Accurate and analytical skills.
  • Change leader.
  • Software / IT Applications.
  • Bilingual French - English (listening, writing, speaking)
