Finance Generalist Manager

ROLE
Finance Manager will be responsible for the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Treasury functions for the UAE, Qatar and Oman.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive accounts receivables collection through weekly review and troubleshooting of aged receivables
- Pro-active engagement with customers to propose solutions to meet their finance needs while within company's collection policy.
- Manage bank relationship and monitor bank costs.
- Manage bank guarantees, bank costs.
- Manage projects in relation to end-to-end payment process, including. bank connectivity.

- Managing complete Vendor Management
a. Vendor Invoices
b. Vendors Payment
c. Reconciliation
- Managing of swift completion of Audits.
- Responsible for VAT filling of CMA CGM UAE offices and overview of Oman filing.
- Liaison with Global Business Service with Accounts payable team to ensure the timely booking of invoices, Payment & Reconciliation.
- Support periodic financial requirements such as month-end close, budget preparation and analysis and periodic internal and external process.
- Evaluating, proposing, and implementing opportunities for process improvements particularly as it relates to non-standard and manual processes.
- Ensure security of financial flows to cover and anticipate cash need.
- Supporting CFO with management and analysis of financial documents.
- Conducting internal financial control audit to ensure compliance with risk matrix, materiality levels, proper documentations of all finance operations.
- Ensuring coordination with Tax department that all corporate legal / Tax compliances are in place and coordinate with local TAX authorities incase of VAT audit.
- Managing 3rd Party Feeder invoices & payments for 17 countries.
- Developing effective tools for KPIs monitoring / Variance analysis and monitor Qlik Sense for other agencies.
- Project analysis / reporting based on Management requirements.
- Perform account balances reconciliation with partners (third parties and intercompany) along with team.
REQUIREMENTS
- 10 -12 years of experience in the Finance/Accounting area with minimum 3-4 years in similar capacity.
- University Degree in Finance / Accounting or Chartered Accountant Certification.
- Solid and proven management skill. Team management experience in previous roles.
- Organizational and Time management skills, multi-tasking and prioritizing, planning activities to meet deadlines and goals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Well organized, focused on routines, very strong commitment to meeting deadlines and flexibility with regards to working time is an absolute requirement.
- Strong understanding of local business practice.
- Excellent MS office skills. Must be an advanced level Excel user and quickly be able to acquire solid skills in corporate and local IT applications.
