Role
The role of this position is to support the HR Senior Manager in all HR Department related administrative duties and functions to assist in ensuring a positive social climate to support CMA CGM development.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, including job postings, interviews, checks, and documentation.
- Partner with hiring managers to fill vacancies timeously and provide regular recruitment updates.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure all data is captured and updated on the HRIS.
- Ensure compliance with data protection, filing, audit, and legal requirements.
- Provide payroll and benefits administration support, including processing changes, verifying data, and responding to employee queries.
- Monitor and report on leave, attendance, and absenteeism in line with company policies and labour legislation.
- Provide administrative support on employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance processes and record-keeping.
- Support employee engagement, performance management, and talent initiatives (appraisals, transfers, job rotations).
- Coordinate training and development activities, maintain training records, and assist with learnerships, internships, and WSP/ATR reporting.
- Liaise with training providers, SETAs, and support EE, BBBEE, transformation, and HR audit requirements.
- Assist with implementing and communicating HR policies, procedures, and HR-related communication.
- Manage the HR inbox and prepare HR correspondence and official documentation.
- Support hygiene, safety and compliance with company policies, code of conduct, and ethics, contributing to a positive work environment.
- Provide general HR administrative support and act as backup for the HR Senior Manager when required.
- Perform other related duties as required to meet business needs.
