THE ROLE
Responsible for developing strategies to improve process efficiency and effectiveness by monitoring country performance, identifying trends and potential issues for the business
WORK RELATIONSHIP
- Internal partners: Managing Director, Heads of Department, HO/RO Business Process Excellence teams, HO Transformation Teams
- External partners: Customers, Suppliers
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop internal measures in collaboration with functional Heads, to facilitate maximum efficiency and to ensure good compliance with the policies and procedures of CMA CGM group.
- Contributing, defining, leading, and implementing business projects related to shipping business process areas.
- Identify and implement initiatives jointly with relevant key stakeholders as required to improve process efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment within the Group’s process and procedures.
- Propose new ideas, lead green belt projects
- Ensure KPI compliance and enable action plans across departments with functional Heads..
- Conduct BCP campaigns
- Support Agency 360 reviews and coordinate action plans within the project deadlines.
- Provide support to HO and/or Regional Office Global Experience Network (GEN) for project deployment and change management.
- Collaborate with Senior leadership teams proactively to identify and deliver improvement that is in line with Group’s vision, values, and strategic plan
- Trouble shoot issues encountered in work processes
- Supervise GBS performance and maturity .
- Align continuous improvement initiatives to company strategic goals
- Any other ad-hoc projects or tasks assigned by management.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
- Diploma/Degree holder with at least 8 - 10 years’ experience in Liner shipping industry with sound technical knowledge in the order handling process.
- Project Management certification PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner
- Lean Six Sigma certification – Green Belt
- Proactive, well organized and able to work under pressure
- Strong leadership qualities and able to work in a highly pressure environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, Visio 2007, PowerApps including Power-Automate)
- Proficiency in reports generation and analysis
- Fluent in oral and written English
- Must have “hands on” Management style.
- Good organization, delegation and discipline skills.
