CESA Vietnam was founded in 2018. CESA started as a development center in Vietnam, and has now become a technology company of CEVA Logistics, specializing in Microsoft .NET technologies (ASP.NET MVC, API, Azure,...), ESB platform (Webmethods, Java...), and delivers projects using Agile methodology. About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manual QC Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing and a keen eye for detail, ensuring our software products meet the highest standards of quality.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for various software applications.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking systems.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure new features and bug fixes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
  • Review and analyze system specifications and user stories.
  • Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential issues that automated tests might miss.
  • Communicate test results and provide detailed reports on software quality.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of the QA process.

 

Qualifications

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Manual Tester or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies.
  • Proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Azure Devops).
  • Familiarity with various types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, usability).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of SQL and ability to write basic queries.
  • Experience with testing web and mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of automation testing tools and frameworks is a plus.

Language

  • Pre/Intermediate level of English communication (written and spoken)

  • Have good logical and critical thinking
  • Reliable and comfortable to collaborate in team
  • Strong learning capabilities both for technical and functional aspects
