Sales Executive

THE ROLE

Responsible for promoting and selling the Group’s products and services while upholding its image and values. The role focuses on expanding the customer base, strengthening market presence, and driving growth in market share

WORK RELATIONSHIP

Internal: Head Office/ Area Office, Customer Service Export, Customer Service Import, Accounting, Documentation, Operations and Logistics, Cargo Readiness

External: Customers, Factories, Suppliers, Terminals

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain current account portfolio and develop new businesses, clients, and increase market share with weekly Sales calls, following MQC, analyzing client performance, providing weekly visit reports and quotations.
  • Develop new areas, develop new segments with regular BCO (direct shippers, traders, factories...) visits
  • Market intelligence - Report competition activity, utilization and market rates, update market identification tool.
  • Ensure accurate updates to Sales databases on account specific activity.
  • Coordinate selling activity, conduct joint calls & presentation for accounts that have decision makers in multiple regions/markets.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFILE

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Above
  • Experiences: 2-3 years Shipping experience in similar position in Shipping company or Freight Forwarder
  • Personalities: Proactive, Dynamic, Customer focus, Think-ahead, Result-oriented
  • Persuasive Skills:
  • Good Communication
  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Language: Good English communication, Chinese language is plus
  • Computer: Good level in MS Office
