Sales Support Officer

THE ROLE

Coordinating Pre Sales and After Sales back up

WORK RELATIONSHIP

Internal: HO/ARO; CSFO; Traffic; CSBO; Documentation; DDSM, Accounting; Operation & Logistics; Branches

External: Customers; Suppliers; Factories

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with RSD/Sales dept., Corporate Marketing Dept. in Singapore for marketing tools, Sales material preparation.
• Making Sales reports, Sales Kit/Sell Sheet
• Trade Statistics collection: Data mining from other local sources (Internet, Papers, Materials by trade associations, government offices)

• Making calls to companies listed in import & export directories (those who have not yet been covered by any Sales) to qualify their potential to pass them on to Sales team for their follow-up.
• Making presentation
• Making quotation/Rate requests on behalf of Sales team when the other SSR is on leave
• Preparing Materials for advertisement.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFILE

• Education: College/ Bachelor’s Degree in Sea Transportation, Export-Import, International Business, or related fields.
• Experience: 2-3 years in a similar role within a shipping company or freight forwarder.
• Skills: Problem-solving, Communication, Time management, Attention to detail
• Language: English communication skills required.
• Computer: Intermediate proficiency in MS Office.
• Personality: Hard-working, proactive, customer-focused, patient, and courteous.
