  1. JOB PURPOSE:

Versatile and proactive Tax Accountant who will take responsibility for overall management and delivery of the Company’s invoicing process, tax declaration and payment, compliance plans in accordance with group policies and Vietnam regulations. This role involves performing a variety of taxation tasks under purview of finance department, preparing the company’s tax projections and tax solutions in accordance with relevant regulations, company guidelines and industry requirements. Additionally, the candidate will liaise, support, and provide backup across multiple accounting functions, including General Ledger (G/L), Tax, Treasury, Accounts Payable (AP), and Indirect Procurement.

  1. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES   
  • Tax Compliance & Reporting

Prepare and submit tax filings (WHT, Freight Tax, PIT - provided by HR, etc.) on time and in compliance with regulations.

Ensure tax liabilities and expenses are accurately recorded and reconciled with declarations and finalization.

  • Risk & Audit Management

Monitor tax positions and manage audit risks.

Support annual audit preparation, internal control reviews, and random workflow checks.

  • Advisory & Law Updates

Keep updated on regulatory changes and provide guidance to ensure compliance.

  • Stakeholder & Authority Relations

Maintain good working relationships with tax authorities and represent the company’s tax profile.

Collaborate with internal teams, regional teams, and industry peers.

  • Accounting & Invoicing Support

Handle invoice issuance (cost+) and validate adjustment minutes.

Provide accounting support, database management, and related administrative tasks.

Act as a key liaison between G/L, Tax, Treasury, AP, and Indirect Procurement functions to ensure seamless communication and process alignment.

Provide backup support to team members during absences, high workloads.

Participate in special projects and other tasks assigned by the Finance Director/Accounting Manager.

 

  1. JOB SPECIFICATION
  • Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Functional knowledge & Experience

4–5 years of experience in accounting and finance with advanced knowledge of accounting and taxation.

Deep knowledge of accounting and tax regulations, including laws, ordinances, resolutions, decrees, decisions, directives, circulars, and official ruling letters.

Experience in organizing and managing accounting databases / Accounting Information Systems

Ability to ensure tax compliance while supporting business development.
