Employee Central Payroll Systems Specialist

YOUR ROLE

Responsible for administering and maintaining the Human Resource information Systems (HRIS) systems, with specific emphasis on supporting in-house Payroll via SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll module.  This will include but is not limited to understanding internal customer requirements and configuring the system accordingly. Partner with Payroll, HR and IT analysts to analyze work process flows, improve processes and leverage technology to meet needs of organization. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Responsible for the continuous improvement of Employee Central Payroll and associated integrations in accordance with strategic roadmaps from the business
  • Configure work schedule rules, wage types, locations, legal entities and basic pay/ pay structure within Employee Central Payroll module
  • Demonstrate experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll module implementation and release management (applying legislative and mandatory HR support packs and updates where applicable)
  • Investigate and support HR and Payroll issues, including HR function effectiveness in Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll with their integrations, organization design and HR/Payroll implications of business transformation
  • Develop payroll initiatives including making recommendations on process improvements to streamline and improve efficiency
  • Participate in implementations and transition projects, maintain, and support the system and ongoing reporting
  • Serve as the systems Administrator and primary point of contact for Employee Central Payroll updates, troubleshooting and resolving day to day issues (data replication monitoring, etc.)
  • Responsible for creating and ensuring configuration workbooks are maintained and up to date.
  • Work closely with management and Payroll team to develop appropriate HRIS procedures.
  • Maintain audit procedures for HRIS functions
  • Serve as liaison to other HR areas to understand requests for information and reports.
  • Strong adherence to sensitivity and confidentiality in maintaining HR data.
  • Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing and validating processes and data flows.

 

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to communicate and interact with people from multiple HR backgrounds, collaborating with both regional and global teams.
  • Ability to understand, interpret, and communicate SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll requirements.
  • Strong analytical experience with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze work process flows, improve processes and leverage technology for implementation or enhancements of HRIS systems
  • Strong organizational skills, project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

 

Minimum:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 4+ experience configuring and implementing SAP/SuccessFactors Payroll with at least 2 full life cycle SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll implementations
  • Certified in SuccessFactors – Employee Central Payroll Module (Required)
  • Previous employment in a Human Resources-related capacity; functional roles in Payroll are a strong plus
  • Knowledge of Payroll Control Center
  • Strong knowledge of SuccessFactors Payroll configuration, data retention management and HR Processes and policies
  • Strong experience with MS Excel, data analysis and reporting, including data collection, data entry, retrieval, analytics, and reporting based upon HR needs.

 

Preferred:

 

  • Degree
  • Certified in SuccessFactors – Employee Central Module (Preferred)
