YOUR ROLE
As part of your studies, you are currently looking for an internship to complete your Master's degree in International Sales, Transport or Logistics.
You will join the Lines operational teams and work alongside Operations Managers and Ship Managers, who manage vessel voyages and port calls.
You will support them in the day-to-day running of the Line: monitoring CMA CGM's loading performance on partner vessels, coordinating information flows between internal and external stakeholders, and handling specific operational requests.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Loading performance monitoring: You will monitor CMA CGM's loading performance on partner vessels and check that allocations are respected.
- Stakeholder coordination: You will handle the exchange of information and data, by phone and email, with the Lines' external parties (agencies, partners, operational centres) and internal contacts (Ship Managers, Dangerous Cargo Office, sales teams, Partnership Agreements Department, etc.).
- Specific operational requests: You will help handle Change of Destination (COD) requests, dangerous cargo loading requests together with the Dangerous Cargo Office (DCO), and Out of Gauge (OOG) loadings, and you will relay specific messages.
- Data & reporting: You will use logistics management and statistics software, update the databases used to track the Line's operational activity, and check and circulate voyage reports.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Education: Currently pursuing a Master's degree in International Sales, Transport or Logistics.
- Experience: Ideally, a first professional internship.
- Technical skills: Good command of Office and IT tools; ability to work with the various software programs used in the Group.
- Languages: Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Personal qualities: Rigorous, able to manage priorities and handle the unexpected, with good team spirit; your interpersonal skills, curiosity and responsiveness will be real assets in this role.
