Export Documentation Specialist

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and control vessel manifests and loading lists accurately and within the required deadlines.
  • Ensure all export documentation is complete, accurate and compliant with customs requirements and regulations.
  • Coordinate with Global Business Service  and international teams to ensure efficient resolution of operational and system-related issues.
  • Act as a focal point between Operations, Customer Service, and Global Business Service teams regarding documentation matters.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance documentation quality and process efficiency.
  • Maintain data integrity within operational systems and ensure timely updates of shipment-related records.

 

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable university, preferably in Logistics, Maritime, International Trade, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in export documentation, customer service, operations, or a similar role within the logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding.
  • Knowledge of shipping documentation, Bill of Lading processes and export procedures is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and customer-focused mindset.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fluency in written & verbal English is a must (part of the interview will take place in English).
