Payable Accountant

Role: Ensure accounting bookings, payments, and analysis of all accounts payable in compliance with Group rules, processes, and working procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Post all supplier invoices after relevant approval is obtained
- Match payments with invoices/credit memos
- Perform account balances reconciliation with partners
- Issue statement of accounts (AP)
- Management of all treasury operations and bank relations.
- Performing vendor invoice posting in line with AP procedures
- Providing support to other issues related to accounting during the month-end/year-end closing, monitoring, and reviewing accounting and related systems
- Make daily and weekly payment preparations, digital payments, and bank payments.
Qualifications:
- BA degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field,
- Treasury experience, preferably in a bank or finance, treasury department,
- Good command of English, both verbal and written; required to communicate with global teams (part of the interview will take place in English),
- Knowledge in MS Office Applications (especially in Excel),
- Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills,
- High sense of responsibility and ability to work in harmony with team members,
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a multi-task environment,
- Able to work 4 days at the office in Istanbul (hybrid).
