CEVA Contract Logistics US Inc. in Jacksonville, FL seeks an IT Solutions Architect with partial telecommuting.
YOUR ROLE
Architect, design and govern Company’s system integration landscape which includes all system integration aspects between Company’s application suite and external business partners as well as the interconnection of Company’s solution stack within the Enterprise.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Responsible for system integration which includes all message or service-oriented communication as well as data integration.
- Fine tune and safeguard the Integration Architecture as it exists and participate in overarching Enterprise Architecture initiatives.
- Define IT, services, and process standards within the Integration domain.
- Set and agree on the standards and templates for business lines or corporate functions.
- Create designs, solutions and procedures meeting current business, customer, and technological requirements based on decisions made which will directly impact Company’s century and subject matter expert accounts.
- Design a consistent integration architecture covering all aspects of service and data integration between internal and external IT systems.
- Develop and manage business/technical critical know-how within area of expertise.
- Influence the organization on global IT function scope in area of expertise.
- Exert authority and ability to make complex decisions impacting multiple IT functional areas.
- Optimize and implement business processes covering different applications/ modules on IT global function level.
- Works collaboratively with other technical experts to ensure alignment on all technical decisions across the organization which includes participation in the Global Enterprise Architect function.
- Responsible for fine-tuning and governance of the existing Integration architecture.
- Determine opportunities, analyses impact and drive continuous innovation of the system integration landscape.
- Participate in re-engineering of business processes on global level covering different processes/ applications.
- Work together with functional IT experts to ensure world class solutions are being created.
- Align integration strategy with the wider IT strategy in the context of Company’s business goals.
- Support and manage supplier relations.
- Participate in vendor evaluation, selection, and governance in area of expertise.
- Drive proof of concepts and vendor/product selection initiatives for all system integration aspects.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities within the department.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to develop team members, including training and knowledge transfer.
- Act as single point of contact concerning Integration Architecture.
- Serve as a creditable expert to senior business and IT leaders in the area of system integration.
- Implement and operate effective governance processes for all aspects of responsibilities.
- Operate in complex decision-making environment impacting the Company’s enterprise.
- Work with senior management from IT, Business Development, and Operations to ensure the best possible global solutions are available for customers and Company employees.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
Education and Experience
- Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study.
- Five (5) years exp. in Middleware integration including architecting and delivering of large-scale system integration landscapes, operating in large company or recognized IT consultancy, based on expertise within the domain of system integration. Additional experience in B2B and Enterprise Application Integration solution delivery, Service Oriented Architecture and Enterprise Service Bus implementation experience, plus hands-on Tibco experience required.
