JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic professional to drive and manage overall trade performance against budget, ensuring alignment between pricing and sales execution, and overseeing Trade Managers and Special Desks (Reefer, Intermodal, Outport & Project Cargo) based out of the Jakarta office.
What you are going to do:

Responsible for leading and optimizing all trade activities across the Agency Trade Managers’ geo-trades: Transpacific, Latin America (LATAM), North Europe, Mediterranean, Middle East/Indian Subcontinent/Red Sea (ME/ISC/RS), Africa, Intra-Asia & Oceania.

Drive and oversee trade lifting performance to ensure it meets or exceeds budgeted targets across all managed trades both export & import performance for Dry, Reefer & Project cargo type.

Ensure mother vessel allocations are optimized and fully utilized for all respective trades with the best paying cargo and ensure Vessel profiles are on continued development.

Assist Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) in developing and executing regional trade strategies to maintain and strengthen the market share and positioning CMA CGM, ANL, and CNC, ensuring contributions from both main ports and outports.

Oversee trade reporting, country/port pair performance tracking, and strategic trade planning. Driving the new service development to boost performance and market necessity.

Provide structured pricing support and ensure seamless commercial alignment with the sales teams, including Vertical Global Accounts and Local Sales, to drive competitiveness and market responsiveness including Intermodal, Outport, and integrated supply chain solutions.

Remain responsible for the imports trade across the globe and work with ARO/HO lines and assign CV opportunities to sales for development while continually push HO/ARO/POLs for UCV growth development and remain responsible for the imports budget.

Groom and develop trade managers to be independent, courageous and have comprehensive trade knowledge to achieve all commercial objectives.
Who are we looking for?
Must have:

Strong prior/current experience of Agency Trade/ Area Management as you will be expected to deliver from day one.

Ability to accurately understand the needs of Line/Trade teams in HO, ARO and Commercial teams and proactively take efficient actions to achieve our targets.

Strong business level communication skills in English (both writing and speaking).

Excellent stakeholder building skills with the ability to navigate across countries.

Minimum 10 years working experience in shipping/forwarding industry, which at least 5 years are at management level

Bachelor’s Degree / University graduated in Marketing, or equivalent, qualified sales achievement

Proven experience managing and optimizing performance across multiple trade lanes

Regional and/or International exposure in trade management
