JOB SUMMARY

a.

Responsible for leading and overseeing the Agency Trade Managers’ geo-trades:Transpacific, Latin America (LATAM), North Europe, Middle East/Indian Subcontinent/Red Sea (ME/ISC/RS), Africa, Intra-Asia & Oceania

b.

Drive and oversee trade lifting performance to ensure it meets or exceeds budgeted targets across all managed trades both export & import performance

c.

Ensure mother vessel allocations are optimized and fully utilized for all respective trades.

d.

Assist Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) in developing and executing regional trade strategies to maintain and enhance CMA CGM, ANL, and CNC market share and positioning.

e.

Oversee trade reporting, country/port pair performance tracking, and strategic trade planning. Driving the new service development to boost the performance and market necessity

f.

Provide structured pricing support and ensure seamless commercial alignment with the sales teams, including Vertical Global Accounts and Local Sales, to drive competitiveness and market responsiveness.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

a.

Ensure detailed vessel profiles and allocations are accurately maintained for all respective trades.

b.

Develop and execute regional trade strategies to meet budgeted targets and ensure sustainable growth.

c.

Align all Agency Trade Managers and branches to ensure weekly trade performance targets are achieved.

d.

Monitor and ensure mother vessel allocation is fulfilled on a weekly basis for all assigned trade lanes.

e.

Highly engage with ARO and HO on all market developments, competitor activities, and key trade movements to align pricing, allocation, and commercial tactics along with Trade Manager

f.

Engage with key customers and branch offices to support commercial expansion and service excellence.

g.

Provide leadership and guidance to Agency Trade Managers and Trade Analysts to drive team efficiency. Develop and strengthen the trade management team through structured training, mentorship, and performance reviews.

h.

Review and consolidate trade forecasts for assigned trades, ensuring commercial planning accuracy.

i.

Work closely with Sales Managers and Sales Teams to ensure trade targets and revenue goals are met.

j.

Foster collaboration across all trade managers, ensuring synergy between different trade lanes and feedering capacity

k.

Ensure strict compliance with Principal instructions, company policies, and global trade regulations

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

 

Minimum Level of Qualification:

  1. Minimum 10 years working experience in shipping/forwarding industry, which at least 5 years are at management level
  2. Bachelor’s Degree / University graduated in Marketing, or equivalent, qualified sales achievement

Professional Skills:

  1. English fluency
  2. Strong in reporting, analysis
  3. Excellent presentation
  4. Has a broaden customer network coverage in any trade and services
  5. Awareness of worldwide economy and freight market
  6. Knowledge shipping / forwarding industry
