Sales Management Senior Manager - CMA CGM Cluster Senegal

YOUR ROLE
Reporting hierarchically to the Cluster Business Unit Management Director and functionally to the Regional CCO, your mission is to align the company's customer-centric strategies with its overall business goals, driving customer satisfaction and revenue growth in the shipping industry.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO
- Set up, organize, and drive sales teams to follow up the customer portfolio and identify growth opportunities.
- Implement sales strategies according to the objectives set by the Group.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance to ensure the revenue targets are met.
- Ensure the proper implementation of the commercial policy defined by the group.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Provide regular feedback and raise local issues and topics to the General Management and other relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate and align commercial strategies across the various countries within the cluster.
- Ensure the proper implementation of the commercial policy defined by the group.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance across the cluster to ensure revenue targets are met.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Provide regular feedback and raise local issues and topics to inform decision-making at the cluster level.
- Act as the cluster’s representative for commercial matters at all countries involved.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- Preferably a master’s degree (Bac +5) specializing in Transport and Logistics, Marketing and Sales, Economics and Management, or Statistics.
- 10 years of experience in shipping (Minimum 7+ years of experience in liner shipping).
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of business revenue growth.
- Strong management and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex business scenarios to customers, senior leadership, and middle management.
- High levels of rigor, organization, proactivity, self-control, punctuality, interpersonal skills, boldness, creativity, and influence.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams towards professional excellence.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide insights to inform decision-making.
- Bilingual fluency in spoken and written French and English is mandatory, enabling clear communication and reporting with local, regional, and Head Office teams
