THE ROLE
Reporting to the HR Director for the Africa Region, you will be responsible for talent management and HR development for all agencies attached to the Regional Office.
This position will require close collaboration with the entire Africa HR network, as well as with the Talent Management and CC Academy teams based in Marseille.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?
Talent management:
- Leading the People Review campaign in close collaboration with the Corporate Talent team.
- Leading and monitoring the succession plan for key positions.
- Proposing, designing, and rolling out innovative initiatives/programs to develop and retain our talent in the region and support the Group's initiatives/programs in the region.
- Work with local HR managers and the Talent Management team to monitor our talent pool and propose development and career plans.
- Support the annual performance review campaign in coordination with the Corporate Talent team.
- Support all Group initiatives and processes launched by our Corporate Talent teams that need to be rolled out in the region.
- Monitor mobility programs in the region (JUMP, VIE, etc.).
- Participate in potential future initiatives or projects to be rolled out by the Corporate HR team (Diversity & Inclusion, Mentoring).
Employee development:
- Roll out the onboarding process for new hires across the Region with support from the Academy.
- Propose initiatives/programs to strengthen employee engagement.
- Support mobility within the Region in collaboration with local HR teams.
Training:
- Identify training needs with the local HR network and Business Leaders.
- Propose a training plan focused on training priorities and work with your team, the Academy, and/or external stakeholders to develop and roll out programs that meet the needs of the Group and the region.
- Develop a strong relationship with the Academy, monitor the mandatory e-learning campaign and training objectives (3 days/employee).
- Monitor partnerships with schools, ensure a good brand image for CMA CGM, and secure funding opportunities for training programs.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Master's degree in human resources management
- At least 3 years of professional experience in an HR generalist position, preferably in an international environment
- Good command of management software (MS Office, MyHR)
- Ability to listen, observe, and exercise discretion
- Ability to work under pressure
- Rigorous, organized, proactive, self-controlled, good interpersonal skills, communication and influence
- Fluent English
- Knowledge of the African continent is a plus
