YOUR ROLE

As Sales Manager for Malta, you lead the agency’s commercial activities and drive business growth in line with Group strategy. You manage and develop the local sales team to ensure optimal customer portfolio coverage, identify new opportunities, and increase market share. Reporting to the General Manager and aligned with Regional Office guidelines, you play a key role in delivering performance and contributing to CMA CGM’s commercial success.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Lead, structure, and develop the sales team to manage the customer portfolio and identify growth opportunities
  • Deploy commercial strategy and objectives defined by the Group / Cluster
  • Define and implement the agency Commercial Action Plan
  • Manage key customers and develop market share and revenues
  • Monitor sales performance using dedicated tools and implement corrective actions when needed
  • Promote CMA CGM products and services to customers and prospects
  • Analyze market trends and sales performance; report regularly to General Management and Regional Office
  • Ensure proper execution of sales processes and customer qualification standards
  • Collaborate with Regional Office to align strategy, targets, and performance follow-up
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Inside Sales, Outside Sales) to ensure business development

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Master’s degree in Business or equivalent
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in shipping or logistics
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Commercial mindset with customer focus
  • Analytical skills and ability to drive performance
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Fluent in English (additional language is a plus)
  • Proactive, results-driven and adaptable
