CMA Terminals is a port operator used to develop, design, build, own and operate terminals and dry docks. CMA Terminals welcomes CMA CGM lines but also invites all shipping companies to develop terminals and offer a top quality service.

 

 

Position Summary:This position is to provide an excellence & reliable terminal service to internal & external customers of CMA & clients. Main function is to keep CY daily job smoothly, especially reducing outside customers’ complaint and boosting up gate turn time. Secure yard operation safety, including special cargo handling and following rules of dangerous cargo. Maintain all facilities in yard operation smoothly.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Consider yard equipment, discharge block and container yard location to daily operation to meet required productivity.
  • Supervise yard activity to ensure container handling under safety way.
  • Monitor each equipment working condition including crane/TT/Empty stacker to get better gate turn time.
  • Monitor special cargo handling such as OOG, BB, serious damage container and keep no conflict on dangerous cargo in yard all the time.
  • Late come containers, concurrent relay and ITT operation plan and monitor.
  • Be familiar with CATOS programs such as TM (Terminal Monitoring), YP (Yard Planning, DR (Delivery Reservation), OM (Operation Management).
  • Keep established procedure running well and improve working process to coordinate with external customers and internal related department to provide best service.
  • Help to amend crane/TT/forklift/worker/tally/truck arrangement and inform concerned parties once get vessel latest ETA or vessel sailing latter than original estimated time.

 

Experiences & Qualification: (1) At least 3 years related experience in terminal operations or related field experience.(2) Knowledge of related terminal operation such as shipside/yard operation                                                            procedure, OOG/DG/damagecontainer handling. (3) Familiar with terminal operation system (CATOS). (4) Good Command of English language and PC skills.
