Senior Network Engineer, APAC

In this role, you will be reporting to the APAC Network Lead of APAC Infrastructure & Application Operations  team based in Singapore and a functional working into CMA global network team in France.  As a Senior Network Engineer, WAN Services in the CMA CGM Group, you will be part of Global Network Team functionally, responsible for driving the evolution and transformation of network infrastructures and  solutions. You will also play a vital role in providing support for user requests and handling network incidents.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively  with both teams and vendors. The ideal candidate will enhance efficiency and competitiveness through the  proficient use of technology within the organization.

Main Responsibilities:
▪ Participation in Network evolution and transformation projects
▪ Implement technical service requests, including configuration changes and expert-level request management.
▪ Provide Level 3 support for network performance issues, ensuring effective troubleshooting and user  assistance.
▪ Define, validate, and coordinate migration and operational plans for seamless network transitions.
▪ Create and maintain up-to-date documentation for network configurations and processes
▪ Oversee network maintenance, including obsolescence management, capacity planning, and vulnerability mitigation
▪ Conduct configuration audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance network performance and security
▪ Analyze and resolve incidents, coordinating troubleshooting efforts and performing root cause analysis (RCA).

Minimum Requirements
▪ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field from a recognized institution
▪ 10+ years of experience in network engineering, with hands-on expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, Wi-Fi, and network troubleshooting.
▪ Proficient in SD-WAN VeloCloud, MPLS, AWS Direct Connect, and VPN configurations.
▪ Experienced with Filtering, VPN, and IPS solutions including Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, and  Zscaler.
▪ Capable of working autonomously and thriving in a multi-national matrix environment
▪ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and recommend automation solutions.
▪ Familiarity with project management tools and methodologie
