Unified Communications Engineer (L3)

In this role, you will be reporting to the APAC Network Lead of APAC Infrastructure & Operations team based in Singapore and a functional working into CMA global network team in France.

 

As a Unified Communications Expert - Unified Communication, you will lead the implementation of UC projects across the APAC region, ensuring they align with our company's mission. Your responsibilities will include managing the deployment of APAC UC projects, troubleshooting, user support and collaborating with regional and global team members.  Additionally, you will work closely with vendors to ensure they meet CMA standards and align with business needs.

 

We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with both teams and vendors. The ideal candidate will enhance efficiency and competitiveness through the proficient use of technology within the organization.

 

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the UC team to implement Unified Communications projects across APAC.
  • Maintain Unified Communications solutions, including Teams, Contact Center, MTR, Teams Phone, reporting, and administration tools.
  • Provide Level 3 support for VoIP and Video Conferencing incidents, ensuring efficient issue resolution.
  • Assess business requirements in technical projects and develop functional and technical specifications.
  • Handle technical service requests, including configuration updates and expert-level request management.
  • Identify, propose, and deploy new Unified Communications technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage discussions, negotiations, and relationships with service providers to ensure optimal service delivery.

Minimum Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • 10+ years of experience in VoIP, with expertise in Microsoft Teams, Contact Center solutions, and Cisco Telephony.
  • Deep technical knowledge of Unified Communications, including VoIP, Contact Center, and Video Conferencing technologies such as Microsoft Teams, NICE CXone, SIP, H323, Audiocodes SBC, ARM, OVOC, Coreview, MOYOBI, and Tendfor.
  • Experience in managing UC devices, including Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) and Teams Physical Phones.
  • Basic understanding of networking, including LAN, WiFi, and remote access solutions like Zscaler ZPA.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and recommend automation solutions.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
