YOUR ROLE 

 

  • The Cross-sell Analyst’s main functions are to uncover, develop, review, price, and support non-maritime and intermodal opportunities. 
  • To achieve this goal, a detailed familiarity with our VAS offerings, our wider network and an understanding of international trade and intermodal markets is required.
  • Data mining, analysis and presentation will form a large part of the day-to-day responsibilities.
  • The Cross sell Analyst will work cross-functionally with local and CEVA Global Account Managers, Line Managers as well as Customer Care and Trade colleagues to complete day to day tasks and achieve targets.
  • The Cross Sell Analyst must maintain a working knowledge of all non-maritime product-related changes, new product launches, as well as global market conditions, as these factors bear heavily on product positioning and strategies.
  • The Analyst must sustain this knowledge by evaluating market reports and studying data obtained from a variety of sources and compare them with our organizational targets regularly.

 


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Support ongoing commercial co-ordination and follow up between the commercial teams of CMA CGM and CEVA in the UK for cross sell activities
  • Review sales performance; based on historical performance and against budgets
  • Develop and maintain VAS Revenue / Pipeline/ Generate and provide standardized reporting to all stakeholders as required. Develop and provide performance reporting to senior management.
  • Create, analyse and maintain commercial reports geared towards identifying areas of opportunity for the sales team to pursue
  • Act as focal point for VAS process and work with other stakeholders to develop and document standardized processes.
  • Support customer enquiries for non-maritime products VAS, E-Commerce platforms
  • Manage weekly ILS HO haulage calls, utilizing data to identify specific trends, collate feedback, and report any issues.
  • Liaise with sales team to gather market intermodal/VAS feedback, ensuring seamless communication and integration of insights.
  • Provide support and engagement on non-maritime services to UK commercial teams
  • Coordinate training sessions
  • Internal / External promotion of non maritime activities
  • Ensure all non-maritime activities are captured through relevant recording tools (C View, LISA CRM, LARA) using correct charge codes to ensure budget data quality
  • Maintain marketing material is current and available
  • Deputise for Cross-Sell Manager when required

 


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

 

  • Demonstrable experience within a Sales environment, preferably within the Shipping industry
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effective relationships with customers and key stakeholders 
  • Pro-active approach to your work, with ability to organise and manage diverse workload and priorities in a fast-paced environment  
  • High attention to detail, with demonstrable experience of working with & Managing data and information
  • Excellent IT skills, with experience of MS Office packages, e.g. MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
  • Experience of identifying opportunities to improve existing processes and systems, adopting a solutions-focused approach to ensuring processes remain effective and fit-for-purpose
  • Demonstrable experience of working with Business systems / CRM
