Sales Effectiveness Manager

YOUR ROLE

 

This position reports to the Deputy General Manager, based in Luanda - Angola and will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies and initiatives aimed at enhancing the performance and efficiency of the sale team. Tehey focus on optimizing sales processes providing training and support and leveraging technology to drive revenue growth and achieve organizational sales objectives.

 

 

WHAT ARE GOING TO DO?

 

  • Support Sales Manager' business decision by conducting and monitoring commercial strategy within department
  • Monitor and follow up the sales team peformance
  • Review and dispatch leads as per strategy defined at group level
  • Review, accept or reject customer qualification exceptions, perform sistem maintenance
  • Manage territories /assign BP to territories, partner codes, clean up)
  • Monitor data in NOVA analytics to improve and ensure data qualidty (visits, calls, MID, leads, specific opportunities, contcats)
  • Supports target seeting and ensures quality of targets from lines
  • Train and monitor adoption of sales team on sales processes and sales tools
  • Participate in sales projects launched by RO/HO
  • Communicate to sales team on changes coming from RO CCO
  • Ensure refresh trainings are regularly organized
  • Spot On leader ambassador in the agency of the digitalize activities (if no cross sales)

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • Bachelors or master’s degree in business administration, marketing, finance, economics or related field
  • Strong knowledge in shipping (minimum 5 years of experience in liner shipping)
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a senior management role preferred.
  • Effective communication skills (ability to articulate various business scenarios with senior business leaders & middle management)
  • Demonstration of professional demeanor, positive attitude, and ability to manage stress through challenging situations
  • Muste be able to priorize work effectively and manage time efficiently
  • Experience in project management, business process management, transformation, continuous improvement, digitalization, customer experience
  • Excellent knowledge in shipping system all modules
  • Understand group organization, processes & tools
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodology, tools & techniques.
  • Familiar with MS Outlook, MS Project or other project and time management software applications.
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, follow up, decision-making, problem-solving, team-building, interpersonal, negotiation, conflict-management and time-management skills.
  • Ability to respond e-mails and queries in timely and efficient manner.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization; ability to explain technical features to non-technical audiences and vice-versa. Ability to communicate and explain new or updated processes to Agencies and various audiences.
  • Proven negotiation and conflict-management skills.
  • English and Portuguese language proficiency at professional level is essential.
