PURPOSE OF THE MISSION
- Tasks & Responsibilities
- Coach and manage Sales team through regular meetings and joint visits / calls with sales staff
- Make sure the team is fully able to sell maritime and non maritime products as per CMA CGM strategy
- Develop and maintain business action plan & objectives, implement management tools
- Follow up of on team performance through the corporate dashboards and propose corrective measures in necessary.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?:
- Promote products and services to customers and prospects.
- Responsible in establishing the Commercial actions plan.
- Identify the commercial market opportunities, develop market shares and/or improve revenues according to commercial strategy (owner of important customers).
- Each team can specialize in a specific type of customer (FFW / BCO) or import/export (for customers doing both, keep one sales doing imp and export), by localization, by commodity, or by trade specificity (e.g., X-trade).
- Spot ON Leader* : ambassador in the agency of the digitalize activities.
- Additional role of VAS Champion can be set by CCO to one of the Sales Manager if no Cross Sales Manager or Cross Sales expert.
- Role of Spot On Leader should be attributed to on agency staff by CCO decision: SEM, ATM, Cross Sales,Sales Manager.
- The Sales Manager leads and guides the sales team to achieve revenue targets and exceed customer expectations.
- They develop and execute sales strategies, provide coaching and support to sales representatives,
- and collaborate with other departments to ensure the company's products or services are effectively positioned in the market.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?:

- 5+ years as an Account Manager
- Sales technique expertise
- Strong Knowledge in Shipping (minimum 7+ Years of experience in liner shipping)
- Management Skills
- Effective communication skills (Ability to articulate various business scenarios with customers, senior business leaders & middle management)
- Demonstration of professional demeanor, positive attitude, and ability to manage stress through challenging situations
- Must be able to prioritize work effectively and manage time efficiently
- Previous experience in Salesforce platform
- Analytical mindset with ability to use data to dive decision making.
