YOUR ROLE:

You will be in charge of maritime agency activities in Malta. You will play an integral role in a strategic market for CMA CGM, promoting the Group’s image and interests. You will add value to the Global Experience Network, Head Office, and Regional Office by identifying growth opportunities and strategic projects aligned with the Group’s overall vision.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

You will work closely with the Regional Office and the Global Experience Network Department to drive the implementation of the Group’s strategy and policies.

  • You will manage and organize the various departments of the agency, ensuring the quality of customer service and the achievement of commercial targets agreed with the Lines and Regional Office.
  • You will define and implement the Agency’s operational and strategic plan to drive growth and optimize operations, monitor and enhance financial performance, ensure budget adherence, KPI achievement, and effective P&L management.
  • As a leader, you will ensure unity and development within the agency by standardizing control activities and promoting eCommerce solutions and digitalization.
  • You will implement reporting tools for various stakeholders and maintain regular relationships with the headquarters.
  • You will ensure the proper application of procedures and rules of the Group and the effective use of internal systems.
  • You will represent the Group to local authorities, industry bodies, and institutions, maintaining direct contact with key decision-makers to identify opportunities and regulatory changes impacting the Group.
  • You will proactively help shape the local business environment and strengthen the Group’s position through forums, committees, and institutional partnerships.
  • You will oversee the management of the local workforce in compliance with local labor and social regulations, ensuring the development of employee skills and the achievement of agency objectives.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Post-graduate diploma in Business Management, Commercial, or Logistics.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in Shipping.
  • Proven track record of growth and delivery in a dynamic business environment.
  • Knowledge of Commercial and/or Operations functions in Shipping/Logistics.
  • Strong influencing and problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to manage and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mandatory English skills and knowledge of the national language is a plus
  • Experience in an international environment.
