YOUR ROLE

 

Mainly in charge of Biofuels roadmap development for shipping, aviation and road transport, you define the biofuels alternative solutions to be studied by priority level, as well as the initiation of potential partnerships with suppliers to support the Group decarbonization journey. In case of partnerships, you also organize and monitor the business relation with the suppliers and others CMA CGM entities. 

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

 

As a Bunker & Renewable Energy Technical Expert, you shall: 

 

  • Maintain, prospect and develop the portfolio of existing and new suppliers of biofuels solutions for the Group’s various transport entities (shipping, aviation and road)  

 

  • Participate & contribute to Biofuels roadmap upstream committee, define feedstock & LCA Strategy 

 

  • Define any feedstock to be selected and used by priority level 

 

  • Exchange and initiate potential business partnership with suppliers  

 

  • Setting up the legal framework for partnerships 

 

  • Organize with supplier feedstocks studies in relation with R&D and CMA Ships departments 

 

  • Biofuels market watch (volumes, suppliers, feedstocks, price in $/tCO2 avoided mapping) 

 

  • Assist PULSE in the interest of possible suppliers’ solutions investments 

 

  • Organize with CSR, R&D the sorting committee to enable biofuels to be validated 

 

  • Comply with the ISO 9001 management system 

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

 

  • Engineer with strong experience in renawable energy and knowledge in biofuels. 

 

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the energy and renewables sector. 

 

  • Strong negotiation and organizational skills 

 

  • Very good communication skills and ability to work with all levels of interlocutors 

 

  • Ability to manage complexity in a demanding environment 

 

  • Excellent level of English 

 

  • Contacts and teamwork skills
