YOUR ROLE

 

Manage and optimize fuel supply operations for the routes under your responsibility (conventional fuels, LNG, biofuels, methanol, de-SOx and de-NOx chemicals).

 


WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

 

  • Establish the bunkering strategy, taking into account all operational parameters, the technical specifications of the ships, and the products available on the market

 

  • Establish supply schedules for the geographical area assigned to you

 

  • Implement the energy supply plan for each vessel

 

  • In coordination with the bunker market purchasing team and based on purchasing recommendations, place fuel orders for your vessels

 

  • Coordinate bunkering operations, from order placement to final delivery, in liaison with the line, the supplier, the vessel, the agent, the marine surveyor if applicable, and the control team in particular

 

  • For each of your vessels, ensure regulatory documentation is in order (confirmation of quantities and prices, performance monitoring, liaison with back office for invoicing issues if necessary)

 

  • Contribute to the development of dedicated IT tools and data management for the department

 

  • Contribute to projects for the implementation of new energies

 

  • Comply with and contribute to the requirements of the quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

 

  • Master's degree (+5 years) Purchasing, ideally in the maritime or energy sector

 

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the commodities and/or maritime sector.

 

  • A good level of English is required.

 

  • Understanding of marine fuels would be a plus

 

  • Excellence in execution, customer focus, good team spirit and communication skills

 

  • You are able to work independently, but you will work in pairs to ensure continuity of service and provide occasional weekend on-call duty according to an established schedule
