CDD Digital Project Officer / Product Owner - Ports & Terminals

The role is a fixed term contract. 

 

THE ROLE

 

The Dynamic Procurement Department, within the Group Procurement Division, is responsible for securing port capacity and improving the operational performance of CMA CGM Group’s terminals.Within this department, the Projects & Process team manages, evolves, and continuously improves several strategic tools for the Group, as well as steering and coordinating a strategic transformation program:

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ? 

 

As part of a temporary replacement and under the supervision of the Projects & Process Manager, the main responsibilities are as follows:

  • Participate in the management and improvement of the department’s digital tools
  • Gather and analyze business user requirements;
  • Contribute to drafting functional specifications;
  • Monitor development with IT teams and external providers;
  • Participate in functional testing, validation of new features, and their deployment to production;
  • Contribute to tracking incidents, change requests, and continuous improvement plans for the tools;
  • Regularly communicate with business users;
  • Update the roadmap and budget for the tools;
  • Organize steering committees, draft meeting minutes, and track action plans.
  • Participate in the CAPPTEN program management
  • Support the Project Manager in steering the program;
  • Coordinate and participate in cross-functional alignment workshops;
  • Coordinate data collection from various stakeholders (local and HQ) and verify its consistency.
  • Support the improvement of business processes
  • Map and document existing operational processes;
  • Identify pain points, operational risks, and improvement opportunities;
  • Organize and facilitate continuous improvement workshops with relevant teams;
  • Contribute to drafting and updating procedures and operational guidelines;
  • Support the deployment of new processes and monitor their proper implementation;
  • Contribute to defining and tracking process performance indicators.

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ? 

 

  • Proven experience in digital project management as a Product Owner and cross-functional coordination, ideally in an international environment.
  • Knowledge of cargo flows, container terminal operations, and procurement processes is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex topics.
  • Rigorous, autonomous, and proactive.
  • Strong team spirit, collaborative mindset, and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
