YOUR ROLE: 

 

Reporting to the Internal Investigations Department within CMA CGM’s Risk Management, Audit & Internal Control Division, the Senior Anti-Fraud Investigator plays a strategic role in detecting, preventing, and addressing fraud cases on an international scale.
They lead complex investigations, oversee advanced investigative tools and techniques, and act as a technical and methodological expert for internal teams and external partners.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? 

 

1. Strategic Oversight and Leadership

  • Supervise sensitive or high-stakes investigations in coordination with Legal, Compliance, HR, and Operations departments.

  • Contribute to the development of the Group's anti-fraud strategy and the implementation of global action plans.

  • Support the Director of Internal Investigations and assist in team development and case management.

2. Advanced Technical Expertise

  • Propose and implement advanced digital investigation tools (OSINT, forensic analysis, data analytics, AI) to enhance the detection of complex fraud schemes.

  • Design and refine detection indicators and predictive models using big data and machine learning techniques.

  • Monitor technological and regulatory developments related to investigative tools and methods.

3. Conducting Complex Investigations

  • Carry out internal investigations on an international scale, including financial data analysis, interviews, evidence collection, and drafting detailed reports.

  • Perform thorough due diligence on high-risk third parties (suppliers, partners, agents).

4. Governance and Communication

  • Present investigation findings to executive leadership and external advisors (legal counsel, auditors).

  • Participate in steering committees and cross-functional working groups on compliance and ethics matters.

5. Training and Awareness

  • Design and deliver training sessions on fraud prevention and investigative techniques.

  • Promote a culture of integrity and transparency across the Group.

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

 

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Law, Finance, Audit, Forensic Science, or related fields.

  • Proven experience (5–10 years) in investigations, forensic audit, compliance, or within specialized regulatory or enforcement bodies.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, digital investigations, and open-source intelligence (OSINT).

  • Excellent writing, analytical, and synthesis skills.

  • Strong leadership, attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to work in an international environment.

  • Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).

  • Willingness to travel internationally.
