Early Careers Attraction & Programs Manager

YOUR ROLE

 

As part of CMA CGM’s global talent strategy, the Early Careers Attraction & Programs Manager is responsible for designing, leading, and enhancing programs targeting emerging talent (interns, apprentices, VIE, CIFRE PhDs, and Graduate Program) to strengthen the Group’s early careers pipeline. This role combines strategic planning, operational coordination, and cross-functional collaboration, with a strong focus on attracting early talent, ensuring program excellence, and supporting their conversion into long-term opportunities.

 

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?



GROUP Worldwide

 

Strategy & Program Governance

 

  • Define and manage the early careers policy including strategic priorities, annual quotas and budget planning when relevant, calendars, performance measurement frameworks.
  • Set annual orientations and program objectives aligned with Group HR and Talent Attraction goals.
  • Ensure consistent governance across programs.
  • Support in the coordination of the worldwide network with the U&S Manager to ensure alignment of practices, tools, and messaging across entities. Focus and full ownership of the animation and coordination of the Early Careers network in France.

 

Program Performance & Conversion

 

  • Setting up data tracking tools.
  • Conduct program review across all programs and analyze KPI performance (quality, satisfaction, diversity, conversion rates).
  • Collaborate with HRBPs, recruiters and all entities to improve the conversion of early talent into permanent roles or other career development opportunities within the Group.
  • Collect feedback from managers, participants, and HR teams to drive continuous program improvement.

Process Design & Coordination

  • Design and implement standardized collection of needs and recruitment processes: timelines, tools, and documentation for all programs.
  • Coordinate the collection of staffing needs with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) across all entities, either directly or through identified contacts.
  • Work closely with the Desk teams and Talent Management to design and implement tailored onboarding and talent development processes/programs.

Recruitment Support & Communication

 

  • Support the operational recruitment process in collaboration with Group talent acquisition team
  • Contribute to internal and external communication campaigns to promote opportunities for early talent, in close collaboration with the School Relations Officer.
  • Provide guidance and coordination to ensure consistent employer branding for this target group, in close coordination with the Group Employer Branding Manager.

Community Engagement & Experience

 

  • Animate the Early Careers Community through onboarding sessions, events, digital content, and networking opportunities.
  • Promote a strong sense of belonging and engagement among participants throughout their journey.*

 

 
 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • Master's degree (Business School, University, IEP or equivalent) ideally with a specialization in Human Resources or Talent Development.
  • +8 years previous professional experience in managing HR programs including early career program
  • Solid experience in Talent Acquisition and/or Talent Management and / or School Relations or HR project management in an international environment.
  • Knowledge of international Youth talent programs and institutional frameworks (e.g.,trainees; VIE, CIFRE).
  • Structured and data-driven, with strong skills in project management, process optimization, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage and animate internal communities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across functions.
  • Fluent in English and French.
