Electrical Engineer

THE ROLE
- Comply with CMA CGM IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations;
- Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies;
- Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis;
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?
Your mission consists in defining, implementing, and following up the electrical architecture and electrical digital architecture of existing vessel, future vessels and terminal containers with news technology.
- Establish, design and Implement :
-
- a vessel electrical grid with new technology like hybridisation, Fuel cell.
- interconnection between vessel grid & shore grid.
- Charging system for asset, equipment, E-vessel.
- digital architecture with automation/ logic of the system.
- Review and assess electrical grid by Performing electrical calculation
- Manage data acquisition and data treatment via Python or other software in view of modelisation
- Knowledge on batteries technology
- Challenging shipyard and suppliers for electrical topic
- Work in close collaboration with others departments ( transverse activities )
- Identify communication process needed between all stakeholders & sub-suppliers involved in various project.
- Assist suppliers to establish the complete process including the signal list and logic.
- Organize and follow-up the Projects activities (dedicated meeting, specific projects follow-up files, planning…) ;
- Assist to Factory acceptance test
- Identify and implement a risk management methodology;
- Issue periodical reporting;
- Manage the minutes of meeting when required;
- Provide support to Management in controlling the various costs associated to the Projects.

- Data Analysis
- Communication process between various software;
- with various software, such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.;
- Fluent in English
- Previous experience in:
- Power Management system
- Project management of large and complex Projects;
- Strong international experience, multicultural.
- Basic knowledge of shipping industry.
- Good presentation and Organization, communication skills (verbal, written and listening), ability to work with all levels of staff and across diverse business areas;
