Finance Application Manager

CMA Ships, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, covers all facets of the maritime business: from the fleet management of the vessels to that of the crew members.
CMA Ships is also a team of experts responsible for implementing innovative solutions and making CMA CGM vessels more energy efficient.

THE ROLE 

In order to address its Ship Management ERP (SmartTOUCH) support and evolution, CMA ships is reinforcing its Digital Solutions team with a position of IT Application Expert (Finance Module).

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

· Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations.
· Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies.
· Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis.
· Be responsible for maintenance and product evolution of software applications.

1. Application Support
· Provide level 1/2 technical support for day-to-day application queries and issues
· Analyze the root cause, resolve the data management issues and propose permanent fix (if applicable).
· Monitor,manage and solve application problems via the dedicated incident management tool within the OLA.
· Document issues, observations and outcomes accurately to escalate issues as required in vendors incident
management tool and to ensure the resolution within the SLA.
· Maintain and create documentation for technical troubleshooting and best practices.
· Maintain understanding of company business processes.

2. Product Management
· Identify, capture and translate business requirements for technical discussion.
· Prioritise business needs with Business Stakeholders on the release of functionalities.
· Document the feedback, suggestions and business requirements via the dedicated change management tool.
· Monitor product development to ensure consistency against business requirements.
· Perform functional test on product and coordinate User Acceptance Test with business users.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Must have 3-5 years experience in:

• Product management and application support.
• Driving product and process improvements.
• Providing front end application support.
• A maritime culture is highly appreciated for this position
• You must be fluent both in English and French
