Financial Operations Control Expert - Middle Office Treasury (M/F)

YOUR ROLE:
You will join the Group Middle Office department within the Finance Division in Marseille, which consists of a team of 10 people responsible for monitoring cash management, debt, and market operations. You will be responsible for producing the Group’s cash flow forecasts, supporting treasury teams in the control and analysis of transactions, and preparing decision-support and risk management reporting.
WHAT WILL YOU DO ?
Group Cash Forecasting Monitoring:
- Preparation of the medium-term cash flow forecast and related reporting
- Reconciliation of actuals versus forecasts and alignment with the Business Plan
- Monitoring of CAPEX, financial assumptions, and debt repayments
- Interaction with Treasury, Consolidation, Business Planning, and Controlling teams
Support to the Head Office Treasury Department:
- Development of cash management tools and reporting for Front Office and management: available cash, FX positions and currency flows, subsidiary cash positions, bank fees, country/bank risk, etc.
- Control of daily cash positions for Head Office and the Group’s main subsidiaries
- Analysis of variances between bank balances and accounting cash positions
Interface between Treasury and the Group’s operational departments for the management of daily cash flows (funds flow analysis, application of internal procedures, etc.)
Analysis and monitoring of intragroup flows and positions (current accounts, TMA, intragroup loans)
Contribution to cross-functional projects, particularly related to process and tool improvements
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?
- Master’s degree from a Business School or Engineering School, or a Master’s degree in Finance, Management, or equivalent. You have at least 5 years’ experience in Treasury or in a banking Middle Office role.
- You have a strong command of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). An interest in IT tool development (VBA, database implementation) would be an asset.
- You are autonomous, proactive, and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and synthesis skills, a good sense of priorities, and a strong team spirit.
- You are fluent in French and English.
