YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and high potential Global Financial Control Expert who will reinforce the team for financial control of 300 entities in over 70 countries, with a complex process structure and in a context of significant acquisitions / integrations.

You will also ensure consistent and GAAP-compliant group accounts, especially on latest acquisitions.

The Financial Controller will develop adequate processes and procedures to guarantee appropriate financial control throughout the group.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reinforce Financial control and processes across the Group:

• Ensure consistent and GAAP-compliant group accounts
• Develop adequate processes and procedures to guarantee appropriate financial control throughout the group
• Ensure specific accounting treatments, estimates & judgments, as well as complex accounting issues are properly accounted for
• Check financial information produced by Business Control for financial communication purposes
• Ensure that the balances reported by the Group's subsidiaries and mainly the latest acquisitions are in line with the Group's principles and that the main estimates/impacts are correctly documented.
• Perform GAAP analysis on the new acquisitions
• Definition and management of the Group Chart of Account (CoA), definition of accounting and reporting standards
• Refresh and enhance corporate accounting and reporting policies and processes
• Participate in improvements to financial systems and processes

Support

• Provide support to the worldwide organization to contribute to the reinforcement of the Financial control team in a context of significant acquisitions

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Master’s degree in finance
• 5 to 8 years of experience in an international company with a financial control function or in an international audit firm.
• Experience with complex organization.
• Strong analytical and project management skills mastered through involvement in large, cross service line projects with international teams.
• Advanced functional knowledge of IFRS GAAP and financial systems.
• Good stakeholder liaison and excellent communications skills developed while delivering presentations and facilitating workshops.
• Innovative and optimistic attitude, coupled with the ability to work under pressure in teams, and individually.
• Fluent in English.
