YOUR ROLE

To support the pricing transformation of Ground & Rail, the Pricing Performance analyst will lead the analytical capability and improve existing tools and processes to support both the Solution Design and the improvement of existing business profitability.

Primary focus will be to design and implement profitability model and pricing dashboard at local level, across regions. Additionally, the Pricing Performance analyst will maintain & improve central profitability workflow & dashboard, allowing global view on customer / shipment performances.

The Pricing Performance analyst will report directly to Global Head of Pricing Ground & rail, closely collaborating with central, regional and local teams (finance, pricing, procurement, operations) to ensure data integrity & tools fitting to country specificities, rapid adoption and long-term sustainability of the tools.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Design and implement country-specific profitability models within Dataiku DSS
• Develop / improve local pricing tools to maximize new business wins & renewals (cost model, pricing model)
• Build analytical models to:

• support deep analysis on contract, transactional and operational data to support fact-based decisions
• analyze deviations between expected and actuals
• analyze revenue leakages (rates, accessorials, surcharges)

• Design performance dashboards via Power BI/ Qliksense

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• A minimum of 5+ years experience as pricing analyst in road transportation
• Strong knowledge of road transport operations (incl. capacity model dynamics) (FTL/partial loads, Groupage Network) is a plus
• In-depth knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis
• Proficiency in data science (e.g. Dataiku DSS, Alteryx) / BI tools is a must
• Excellent communication skills, English is a must
• Ability to work in an international environment
• Adaptable, can do attitude and resilient. Good project management skills
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills with experience identifying and resolving problems
