Global Product Owner Specialist (M/F) - CMA CGM Head Office

  1. Context: 

Within CMA CGM, the Lines Ops Transformation department oversees digital projects and products impacting Lines Ops Business Execution such as Fleet Assignment, Operations, Cargoflow and Partnership Agreement. 

Led by Lines Ops Transformation poleMARLIN is a strategic program aimed at building a digital solutionencompassing 3 tools, to manage and optimize CMA CGM Fleet and Network. 

In this context, we are seeking a Lead Product Owner to ensurthe Run of a portfolio of products that will increase over time. 

 

  1. Missions and Responsibilities: 

 

  • Business Requirements Collection: collaborate with Business stakeholders to understand their expectations. Identify and prioritize Business needs in order to define the target solution and product’s main features. 

 

  • Product Backlog Management: update the Product Backlog by translating Business requirements into User Stories and defining acceptance criteria. Ensure Business approval of all concepts carried by the User Stories and prioritize the features to develop. 

 

  • Product Conception: lead workshops with development team to communicate product’s objectives and features. Arbitrate and validate IT solutions considering the allocated budget and validate functional specifications. Participate with IT stakeholders to oversee product development process and address production issues, when necessary. 

 

  • Quality of Deliverables Monitoring: monitor product progress at each stage of the process. Ensure the product fits business requirements and has been developed within a data quality framework. 

 

  • Tests & UAT: Validate functional tests & UAT strategy, monitor tests campaigns in collaboration with the Test Lead to measure the quality of the deliveries at all stages. 

 

  • Product Implementation: support Change Management team on roll out strategy definition, organization of training sessions for end users and communication. 

 

  • Product Performance Monitoring: Monitor tool adoption and ensure the product brings business value through KPIs. Gather feedback to improve and optimize the product features. 

 

  • Reporting: Working with the product team to regularly deliver updates and status reports. 

 

  • Pursue Change Mangement: continuous improvement of the process, and communication around the products 

 

  1. Required Skills: 

 

  • Leadership and Collaboration Experience: Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ability to foster a collaborative and positive working environment. 

 

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills in both French and English. Ability to lead meetings in French and English. All documentation in English. 

 

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to determine key elements and prioritize them. Identify proactively potential issues and propose solutions. 

 

  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and priorities. Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. 

 

  • Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile development environment. 

 

  • CMA CGM and Shipping Knowledge: Previous experiences in Shipping would be appreciated.
