Global Product Owner Specialist

YOUR ROLE

 

The Lines Ops Transformation department leads the strategic digital programs that have a direct impact on the execution of maritime operations.
 
Driven by this department, the strategic TRITON program aims to design and deploy an integrated digital solution composed of three complementary tools, intended to manage, secure, and optimize the handling of maritime flows, particularly customer bookings, as part of the deployment of the vessel fleet forming the core of the CMA CGM network.
 
Within this framework, the Product Owner is responsible for the value delivered by one of the key modules of the solution. They act as an interface between the Business and IT teams, working closely with the Lead Product Owner and supporting the reporting line of the TRITON program manager.

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

A. Analysis and understanding of Business needs
  • Close collaboration with the Flow Management (Business) teams.
  • Collection, analysis and prioritization of business needs in line with operational challenges.
  • Translation of Business needs into clear and actionable functional requirements.

 

B. Product Vision and Roadmap
  • Definition and maintenance of the product vision for the assigned module.
  • Building, steering, and updating the product roadmap, in alignment with the overall TRITON ecosystem.
  • Ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives of the program.

 

C. Product Backlog Management
  • Writing User Stories and associated acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritizing the backlog based on Business value, dependencies, and technical constraints.
  • Preparing and facilitating product rituals (backlog refinement, sprint planning).

 

D. Delivery Management

  • Close collaboration with the IT / Delivery teams.
  • Preparation, coordination, and monitoring of testing phases and UAT.
  • Identifying risks, managing functional arbitrations, and contributing to key decisions.

 

E. Cross-functional coordination and communication
  • Continuous interface and alignment between Business, IT, and transformation teams.
  • Coordinating interactions and dependencies between different tools and modules (DORA, Filling Factor Cockpit, Hub CSEL, etc.).
  • Clear and structured communication to stakeholders.

 

F. Performance and value monitoring
  • Defining and tracking product and operational KPIs.
  • Measuring delivered value and contributing to the continuous improvement of the solution.

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • Proven experience in the maritime, transport, or logistics sectors (strongly appreciated).
  • Experience as a confirmed / senior Product Owner.
  • Mastery of Agile / Scrum methodologies and backlog management (tools such as Jira).
  • Excellent communication and influence-based leadership skills (French / English).
  • Strong adaptability, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, complex, and fast-paced environment.
  • High ease in cross-functional Business / IT environments.
  • Good understanding of flow management, operational optimization, and network performance challenges.
  • Ability to contribute to a large-scale strategic program and work with multiple stakeholders.
