YOUR ROLE

 

As a Inside Sales for Global Account, you will join the Global Accounts Department at CMA CGM's head office in Marseille. 
You will work in collaboration with both the Vertical Manager and one of the Global Key Account Manager, supporting them in the management of their customer’s portfolios, as well as in the commercial relationship. 

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

 
In this context, you will be responsible, in collaboration with the Vertical Manager and the Global Key Account Manager, for: 

  • Accompany the Vertical Manager on the Vertical’s creation, strategy creation and performance monitoring 

  • Follow-up of tenders (launch in collaboration with our Global Business Service in India (GBS), follow-up of returns from the head office pricers and GBS, control, and final validation for sending to the client). 

  • Consolidation and analysis of all documents related to the tender: customer requirements, legal aspects, compliance, environment, credit terms...) which will serve as a basis for the preparation of the contract. In this capacity, you will work in interaction with the legal, credit, insurance, and customer service departments of the group. 

  • Follow-up of awards as soon as they are received (follow up of the dispatch to the lines and of the good integration in the information systems of the main lines), of the consolidation of allocations and customer forecasts in collaboration with the lines (follow up of loading priorities). 

  • Preparation of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in collaboration with Customer Care. 

  • Sales performance reporting required by the Global Key Account Manager to manage their portfolios. 

  • Follow-up of the Sales Action Plan. 

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

 

  • You have a master’s degree, with a first experience (1/2 years) in the shipping industry or commercial role. 

  • You are fluent in English and are very comfortable with Excel (mastering Pivot Table).  

  • Organized, methodical, rigorous, and reactive, your analytical skills and your mastery of computer tools allow you to be a force of proposal.
