YOUR ROLE

 

As Director of Technical Learning Projects (Senior Manager), you play a key role in bridging Digital Learning, HRIS and Learning teams, ensuring the successful implementation, optimization and evolution of Learning solutions across the Group.

Beyond operational delivery, you act as a senior leader and trusted partner for Learning stakeholders, with a strong mandate to take ownership, define the roadmap, make recommendations and drive results. You are expected to take clear positions, challenge existing setups when needed, and actively shape the future of Learning digital solutions.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOIN TO DO ? :

 

Team Management & Leadership

  • Manage and mentor a Learning Solutions organization composed of approximately 10 internal team members, complemented by 2 external consultants.
  • Directly manage the Solution & Support Manager (team of 5 support experts based in France and India) and a team of 2 Functional Product / Process Experts.
  • Define roles and responsibilities, ensure clear accountability, perform regular check-ins and conduct performance reviews.
  • Foster a culture of autonomy, ownership and results, positioning the team as proactive contributors .

Strategic Roadmap

  • Build, own and continuously evolve the Learning tools and platforms roadmap, aligned with Learning and business priorities.
  • Act as a force of proposal on functional, technical and organizational improvements.
  • Identify needs in terms of resources, skills and budget, and make structured recommendations to management.
  • Prepare and present roadmap choices, priorities and trade-offs, with direct exposure to senior leadership
  • Take ownership of the Learning tools and projects budget, monitoring and coordination.
  • Manage strategic relationships with solution vendors and software editors.

Internal Customer Relationship Management

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with Learning and Academies leaders to understand their needs, challenges and expectations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Learning tool-related topics, ensuring a business-oriented and results-driven customer approach.

 

Change Management & Training

  • Drive the adoption of new tools and processes through structured change management strategies.

AMOA 

  • Serve as the senior functional lead for Learning digital projects.
  • Analyze, challenge and translate business needs into clear functional orientations and specifications.
  • Ensure strong alignment between business expectations, technical solutions and delivery constraints.
  • Oversee project delivery in close collaboration with the Group HRIS PMO and Group HRIS Solutions Director, taking an active role in key decisions and arbitrations.

Learning Systems Management & Optimization

  • Oversee the functional management and continuous optimization of Learning platforms (e.g. TMS Training Orchestra, LMS Docebo).
  • Ensure platforms meet business needs, performance expectations and user experience standards.
  • Proactively identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous enhancement initiatives.

Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Build, structure and mobilize HR & Learning data to deliver actionable insights.
  • Provide clear reporting to support decision-making at both operational and strategic levels.
  • Use data to measure impact, performance and ROI of Learning solutions.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

  • Maintain strong, structured and transparent communication with Learning COE, Learning community, HRIS teams and application owners.
  • Coordinate closely with the Learning & Talent Management team to align digital support with strategic Learning objectives.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing across teams, support levels and with vendors when required.
  • Demonstrate a clear, fluent and impactful communication style, adapted to executive audiences.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Experience & Skills

  • Engineering degree in IT or information technology field
  • Proven experience (minimum 12 years of experience) in senior project / product leadership within digital, HRIS , learning environment or IT environment
  • Strong track record in managing teams, budgets and complex stakeholder ecosystems.
  • Ability to structure, prioritize and drive multiple initiatives in parallel.
  • Proven experience in IT project management in an international scope environment

Communication & Collaboration

  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Ability to explain complex topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior leadership and defending strategic recommendations.
