Intern Data Reliability - Off-Manifest Rebates Department

YOUR ROLE
Reporting directly to the Department Manager (« Off-Manifest Rebates) , you will put your expertise to work leveraging data to optimize operational steering and streamline exchanges with customers.
As an intern, you bring an analytical mindset to identify optimization opportunities, curiosity to propose innovative solutions, and rigor to guarantee data quality. Your fresh perspective will actively help modernize the department's working methods.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

BI diagnostic: you analyze the department's current reports and dashboards to identify areas for improvement (clarity, KPI relevance, automation).

Dynamic dashboards: you design and develop dashboards that support decision-making for the team and management.

Data quality: you ensure the reliability, timely update and quality of the data feeding these reports.

Customer data control: you study the current process for receiving and processing customer data (loading lists, rebate requests) and design an automation tool to instantly control, cross-check and validate it.

Alert system: you build a mechanism to quickly detect errors or inconsistencies before validation.

Documentation and training: you write simple documentation and train the team on how to use the new tool.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education: Bachelor's+4 or Master's student from a Data/Business school (Albert School, ESC…), an Engineering school, or a Master's in Management Information Systems/MIAGE, Finance, Accounting, Statistics or Data Analysis.

Analytical mindset and rigor: you can study complex situations, propose suitable solutions, and guarantee the accuracy of data and analyses.

Passion for innovation: you enjoy exploring modern tools to automate and optimize tasks.

Technical skills: advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Access (advanced formulas, Power Query, pivot tables), data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and automation tools.

Collaboration and autonomy: you can work as part of a team, interact with other departments, and take initiative to improve processes.

Differentiating strength: prior experience (internship, personal project) in data analysis, automation or process improvement.
