Internship - Charterring financial controller junior

YOUR ROLE

 

The Chartering department consists of over 36 people and is divided into 3 units: negotiators who charter the vessel, operations staff, and financial staff who manage the vessel during the charter contract (charter parties CP)

You will join the team as a Junior Charter Financial Control Officer.

 


WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

 

Specifically:

 

-    Ensure the financial monitoring of charter contracts (charter parties CP).
-    Control the financial terms of the charter party contracts (CP).
-    Prepare the payment schedules for the chartered vessels' hires.
-    Verify invoices related to these vessels and schedule payments.

 


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

 

  • You are currently enrolled in a Master's degree programme in international trade or business and administration management.  Ideally, you have experience working in a large or international company.
     
    You are fluent in English and French, both written and spoken. You have a good command of IT and office tools, including Clicksense, Excel and AI.
     
    You will use your rigour, organisational skills, team spirit and sense of responsibility to serve the division and promote good teamwork.
