Internship - Container Fleet Technical

YOUR ROLE 

 

As an intern within the MnR Technical Team, you will contribute to the performance management and continuous improvement of CMA CGM’s global container fleet Maintenance & Repair activities. You will support the team in monitoring operational and financial performance, analyzing data and costs, coordinating with various stakeholders, and contributing to digital transformation initiatives.

 

This internship will provide you with a cross-functional understanding of technical operations, cost optimization, data management, and digital innovation within an international environment. 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?  

 

Performance Management and Cost Analysis

  • Monitor and analyze Maintenance & Repair (MnR) performance indicators
  • Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Consolidate regional feedback and contribute to performance reporting
  • Support the identification of cost-saving opportunities as part of the Cost Improvement Plan (CIP)

 

Operational Support and Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Support Head Office estimate management activities
  • Assist with Reefer fleet monitoring and follow-up
  • Coordinate with Technical, GBS, IoT, and Procurement teams to ensure process compliance and data quality

 

Digital Transformation and Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of management and reporting tools, including Qlik Sense, SAMIR, and AI-based solutions
  • Support digital project deployment and user adoption
  • Propose innovative solutions to improve MnR performance, operational efficiency, and internal processes

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?  

 

  • You are a Master’s degree student (Master 2 / Bac+5 equivalent) with a strong interest in data analysis, reporting tools, and performance management, and you are eager to gain experience in an international environment
  • You have advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, formulas, and data analysis, as well as knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Qlik Sense, Power BI, or equivalent solutions
  • You have strong analytical skills and are able to work with performance indicators, structure, consolidate, and interpret data from multiple sources
  • You have a strong interest in digital tools, automation, and artificial intelligence.
  • Knowledge of the maritime, logistics, or industrial maintenance sectors would be considered an advantage
  • You are proficient in professional English, both written and spoken
  • You are curious, proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-oriented, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • You are able to manage priorities, communicate and simplify complex analyses, and work effectively with multicultural stakeholders. You are also adaptable, have a strong team spirit and customer service mindset, and thrive in a fast-changing international environment.
